Unusual Sunroof Problem

Yet another sunroof question, but this one is a bit different.

The drive cable housing pulls out from the clamp where it attaches to the motor (see photo). It looks like it should be held in place with an olive (visible in the photo) but the part the olive pushes in to (no idea what this is called) is damaged and insecure.

Has anyone seen this before? Is this part replacable? I will contact an OPC and ask but thought I would try the knoweldge of the forum

I had the same problem where the cable rucks up. I linked the two tubes together with a piece of metal shaped into a semi circle and a couple of jubilee clips. Been like that about 18 months now. Jobs a goodun [:)]
