In response to requests for a Sunday gathering and BBQ we have both organised for 2nd August. 2nd & 3rd May - Silverstone Supercar Race Weekend[FONT=verdana,geneva"] All members are invited to join Porsche Club GB in our own infield parking area to display of our supercars.[FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana,geneva"] The race weekend has a full programme of races including the first round of FIA GT Championship race for GT1 and GT2 cars for the Royal Automobile Club Tourist Trophy, as well as a round of the FIA GT3 European championship, the GT4 European Cup, and Formula 3 and Lamborghini races. [FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=verdana,geneva"] The infield parking/display area will be for those members who have bought the special price advance tickets and parking for Porsche cars. The tickets include free grandstands and paddock access and infield parking in the PCGB area, also for the practice day on Friday 1st May. (normal on the gate prices are Sat. £15, Sun. £25, but no infield parking)

[FONT=verdana,geneva"]R11 (Essex) is once again hosting the PCGB display at the Imperial War Museum Duxford. Entry price £9 per adult in a display car (saving of £7). Free entry for children under 16; dogs are not allowed. At Langley Wharf, WD4 8JE from 7pm onwards. Jonas and Steve at JZM, have invited Chiltern and adjacent region members to enjoy the hospitality of our local Independent Porsche Servicing and Tuning Specialist, at their premises in Kings Langley, for our May 5th club night. There will be a complimentary buffet and drinks courtesy of JZM. The technical staff will be on hand to answer questions and help diagnose faults on you Porsche that may need to be fixed. This has been a very popular annual event for many years and members from R21 and our neighbouring regions are all welcome.[FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=arial"]Directions to J.Z. Machtech, Kings Langley, WD4 8JE [FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=verdana,geneva"] From M25:- J.Z. Machtech's premises are less than 2 miles from where the A41 meets the M25 at J20. At this junction take A4251 towards Kings Langley. Turn right at first roundabout and then, at end of road, turn left in to Primrose Hill. JZM are just over a mile down road on the left immediately before the railway arch across the road.[FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana,geneva"] From M1:- J.Z. Machtech's premises are only about 6 miles from M1 J8. Take A414 towards Hemel Hempstead. Then take A4251 towards Kings Langley. Just before entering Kings Langley turn left at traffic lights under bridge and drive a few 100 yards to Tee junction. Turn right and drive for less than half a mile; as you go under the bridge turn right in to Langley Wharf. 16th May Porsches at Ace Cafe
View the Porsches and motorbikes this event attracts from 6pm onwards at the Ace Cafe, NW10 7UD. Inside enjoy sausages & mash, all day breakfast, ribs, scampi and many other freshly cooked meals at reasonable prices.

From 9am to 3pm just off M1 junction J13 at The White Horse, Husborne Crawley, MK43 0XE. Free entry and parking usually results in excess of 1500 visitors so it is worth getting there early for your Porsche parts. Pub food served all day.

2nd August - Sunday BBQ (ADVANCED BOOKING REQUIRED)[FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=verdana,geneva"][FONT=verdana,geneva"] Chiltern Region have organised a Sunday lunch BBQ from 1pm at The King William IV Country Pub & Restaurant (see www.thekingwilliamivspeen.co.uk ).This grade II listed building situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the top of the Chiltern Hills is in the heart of Speen, next to the village green. There is ample parking for our Porsches, landscaped gardens and the area is great for countryside walks.[FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana,geneva"] For our BBQ lunch each person can choose any or all of the following...[FONT=verdana,geneva"] Special King's Farm Beef Burger with cheese
