Upcoming track days, Donny etc.

Guys, did someone in the past month mention a track day up at Donny in the next month or so? Would love to get as much time on the reopened track as possible prior to the Future Classics race there in October.

I noticed that one Mark, properly hardcore [:D].

I heard you had a good day today Mark, but I also heard George has done a 54.1 [8D], and to top it all Pete and Alex are going to make an appearance. Oh well just as well I wasn't hoping of a good finish at this rate I will be lucky to get in the top 10.

Forgot to add I believe there is a test day the 3 of us can get on, have to say test days are Awesome with a capital A. This mad can-am thing came round the outside of me the other week, made the most unbelievable noise then disappeared into the distance. Apparently he was lapping Malory in the 44's [8D]. Anyways I was hoping for a track day before that so I have a good bit of time to think about the lap prior to the race and a proper opportunity at a test day to go for it.

Looks good edh [:)], that was one of 3 I found in October and probably the most useful one for me. I was sure I found a test day prior to the penciled in CSCC races but I can't find a link anywhere on the net for it. Start of October is ideal for me as I will likely have a break from racing after Silverstone next week, so something like a 7 week gap in which to do a something else.

Hi Neil,Just wanted to wish you the best of luck for an enjoyable first race in your new car!Hopefully get to say hello in person aswell![:D]
I had a bit of a mare in my car on wednesday TBH as with the test before...my car does not seem to want to hold its Geo,especially on the front left so it starts off great, then the wheel moves upright into understeer city[&:],the local team that are helping me now have hopefully sorted it with a couple of changes but i would feel alot happier if this all would have been sorted in testing....so fingers crossed for sunday.........!!!!!!

MR F..if you read this we have done something along the lines of what you said, thanks for your time the other day.[:)]

Definitely count me in - although i'd rather not be the only one there..

It's been almost a year since my last track day at Donington, which was my last outing in the 944.

I hope to be at the November Donnington track day....

p.s. I potter around!

Start of next month almost certainly out for me. Car is going back to EMC for a damper revalve (far too soft valve set, remember I bought this GAZ set originally as a fast road setup from another supplier) and a few other things to get her nice and reliable for the future. Would still like to do Donny though.
