Hello everyone,
Continuing my 997S upgrades after several trackdays. I have decided to change the braking system, having destroyed the original Pagids R42 within the 1st session (cracked through overheating), and get problems on Pagids R29s (do not know why yet). Also changing to Cup tyres. Any views on whether it might be money well spent, or should I just do the tyres and leave the brakes alone?
I am also looking into upgrading the suspensions to GT3 or Blistein PSS. Bottom line is that the lowered springs (-25mm) are destroying the underside, and a GT3 I drove around Silverstone has a far more organic feel to it than mine. I am unsure about the potential upgrades just yet, Parr is looking into it. I would really like to mimic the GT3 feel, unknown you can get the setup and recalibrate the PASM though, or just go for a new system altogether.
Finally, the adaptive sports seats are not holding me at all. I am really in a quandry as to what to do. I need the rear seats so realistically on the new bucket seats Porsche just introduced will do. On the other hand having only done 20.000m I would prefer to sell my adaptive sport seats and not be left with £2000 of seats + probably £2000 of new ones. Any ideas how I might do this, how much they could be worth?
Thanks!
