Who makes an up-rated clutch for a 3.2/915?

I have a standard Sach cast iron etc unit now, but I note AP do not list a Formula series clutch.

Any ideas?

Needs to be a robust hillclimb start unit!

Graham are you looking for just the driven plate or pressure etc as well.
Helix do a great competition driven plate, and the only reliable pressure plate for a 915 is the sachs ali competion/race pressure plate, not the sachs fast road,i killed one at loton by the second run!

Thanks Paul.
I have an AP Organic Formula uprated clutch in my hot Impreza (Prescott in 46 secs) and it has been perfect for 3 years.
The stock Sache units I've used in my Bitza have always been good, but after all those runs on sunday, I wonder if I shold replace it with something more like the AP.
Helix do a complete cover/organic plate I see in D Tweeks.

Thanks for the advice.

See you at Shelsley?

Francis Tuthill fitted my 2.7 with an uprated Sachs - his choice based on all his competition preparation expertise.

Was it organic or a paddle type ceramic?
some years ago I used a new RSR alloy cover, 4 puck paddle with sprung centre and it was terrible. (plate welded itself to the flywheel!)

Sounds interesting and he knows his stuff obviously.

Organic
Call them, Paul Green is the main contact but Francis or his son Richard are usually there. They all know which way is up.

Thanks Alex. Doing Shelsley Walsh tomorrow, 6 full-on drag starts with sticky semi-slicks so hoping the clutch holds as racing at Barbon Manor next sat...
If it pops this weekend then I know where to get a good one from.(PDQ [&:] )

Graham.
