I would like to uprate the exhaust system on my 3.2 Carrera. To release some power and also get a bit better sound. Would rather spend £ hundreds than thousands... Have heard of some bypass pipes?? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hello Dashmore

I spent ages umming and erring on which exhaust to get for mine, listened to countless vid clips, asked advice etc. I wanted something that did not drone, released some noise and was a bit more raspy that the stock. In the end I got one from Turbo Thomas and (for me) it's perfect. I keep meaning to take an in car vid on a favourite stretch of road with a wall to the left - when the weather clears i'll do this.

I know drop the left windows whenever I am in a town or near a wall, it's infectious!

Mine is a single out with straight through ore muffler. It was £1300 delivered though....

Thank you, Eddie. Does the system you have release any more power? Sounds like you spent time looking into it. £1300 could be acceptable if it gives more than just more noise.

I am sure it does but have no idea how much. It feels and sounds faster but that's probably because at every opportunity I am flooring it to hear it! Give them a call and see if they have dyno readings.
