Help needed...

Porsche are unable to supply the standard length BLACK wheels bolts for my Sport Classic wheels - new addition to the Tequipment catalogue (997.1 C4S).
This means that I will have to either:

a) Be patient and not fit the wheels until the bolts arrive (Porsche cannot give a date).
b) Spend (and throw away) £130 on new standard length silver bolts (they have to be Genuine and I have to order new bolts, as my car wass fitted with 5mm spacers and so I only have the longer bolts).
c) eBay (no joy).
d) Scrounge a set of used standard bolts.

Porsche UK do not have any used standard wheel bolts lying around. Bolt caps are not an option.

Can anyone (living within a reasonable distance of Hatfield) help with option d?

Thank you!

ps - they can be returned as soon as the black bolts arrive

Or get some fabricated until the ones you want turn up. There must be any amount of machine shops or specialist fastener companies around Hatfield that could help you out if you supply them with a pattern.

Regards,

Clive.

I'm afraid Hatfield are doing the wheel swap as part of some other work, and fabricated bolts wouldn't pass scrutineering.
It's got to be Genuine Porsche I'm afraid.

Try Porsche-Apart in Ramsbottom, Lancashire - feel sure that Simon would be able to help out with some SH ones.

Tried them earlier - £65 incl. P&P - I can wait if it's that much.
