USA car

Seems a lot to me?
I appreciate it is US street legal, with the Dentist spec seats, steering wheel and windows I think that is the only way they can sample one unless it is on "show plates".
It makes you think how fortunate we are in the UK at times, with respect to regulations.

p.s. Nice profile pic you have their Essential! [:D]

was looking at their website on Thursday and the estimate was $350-$450k, so quite a bit over. With a buyer's premium of 10%, that's roughly £390k....

I think the USD 550K quoted by the auction house included the 10% buyer's premium, in which case the winning bid was USD 500K. Even then a strong price.

If Clubsport is correct and the only way to Federalize an RS is with the sports seats that the auction vehicle had, that is a shame as for me the Recaro buckets add significantly to the sense of occasion when driving.

I also note that the car was described as having been recently repainted, which would have had the European "originality is everything" brigade reaching for the smelling salts! Still, maybe this was offset by the allegedly aluminium doors mentioned in the auction description..... (which mention was I suspect simply down to some lazy cutting and pasting from the auction house's description of the unsold white 993 RS that went across their block in London last year and was similarly described).
