Hi All

While I had the engine compartment open on my 993 I noticed that the sound deadening pad on the top above the engine was looking a bit sorry, so I did a bit of searching for a solution as this must be a common fault due to the heat exposure.

I found this pad keeper which can be ordered from Germany for €46.50 plus €18.50 postage.

Has anyone bought a pad keeper and what do you think?

The Pad Keeper is manufactured by a guy in USA. David Etter. if you go on Facebook and type his name it will come up he is based in Colorado.
It's a great piece of kit and certainly tidies up the rear. Only takes minutes and if you search and join 993 Rennlisters you will see many who have done it and they are a great bunch although being the other side of the water.
