V8 958 cayenne running rough at idle

I've a 95K mileage V8 cayenne and it has an intermittent rough idling especially when hot. Once I set off the engine runs fine with no misfires, its just when at idle at junctions.
Anyone experienced the same? Any thoughts on an independent specialist in the Chester/Cheshire are?

It’s definitely worth getting it checked sooner rather than later, my early Cayenne S has just dropped several valve seats through getting excessively hot after a coolant pipe burst, so make sure you don’t make the same costly mistake by leaving it to long or by trying to save an extra couple of quid.

A bad coil pack is definitely a good shout and probably the easiest place to start and shouldn’t be overly difficult to find by a good tech. That said, I had a misfire on my 996 when it warmed up which turned out to be a lifter issue, so fingers crossed yours is a much easier fix and that you manage to get it sorted quickly.
