As part of my ongoing engine bay tart up I'm looking at replacing the original vacuum lines with new colour coded silicon ones. Anyone know what the inner diameter should be in mm?

Thanks.

Wise thing to do mate the original hard plastic ones are pants!!! Don't think the diameter is that crucial 3 or 4 mm as long as it fits over wht it has to comfortably and isn't too loose. Got my replacement silicon hoses from the local motor factors.

5/32" (or 4mm), I got 25ft of blue silicon 4mm vacuum hose and 4 t-pieces from ebay (cost was 20 odd squid), took an hour and was well worth it as found two split/damaged hoses whilst doing it, and the end results look great also, see my previous post for pics, have fun, cheers the now. Use little cable ties to help get a solid grip on fittings

Ended up going for 5mm silicon in red and with 3 t pieces. Cost under £15 for the bits from eBay and fitted in less than 20 mins.

Unfortunately I've now got a hankering for some red Magnecor HT leads to match, only they're £75.
