Yeah, right[8|][:'(] - for what reason?

THIS BERK IS A TRADER

How many more times is he going to be allowed to infect our forum before he gets wiped?

Cmon Admin - get the lead out.

I agree, he's starting to fill the forum up with recycled stuff we can all find for ourselves or have seen before.

THIS BERK IS A TRADER

I wasn't aware he was a trader, just seems to be a collection of videos with some adverts to me. What trade?

We don't have a policy of banning people for no reason, but if the links aren't wanted then I guess the message should have got through from the replies here! [:)]

I will ask the OP to clarify that these aren't trade ads.

Hi Paul - The links themselves are the adverts, if people click them the adverts served on the landing pages create pay-per-view revenue for him. OK, it's not a trader in the normal sense, but maybe it's worse(?).

He never engages in any conversation and I suspect never returns to look at posted replies. Only interested in people clicking his links.

Maybe I'm being unfair but personally I'd be happier with adverts from indies on here than this type of link filling up the pages.

Just to add some balance to this thread - Im not defending or castrating the original poster or what has been posted by others. Past or Present!

My region, R24 Cambs and Beds did attend Supercar Sunday at the Sharnbrook Hotel last month. We had a terrific day.

Amongst some of the Trade displays was this company. I spoke to them for some time re the products and services they offer.

They asked could they come along to one of our Club nights early next year, bring a car or two and give a short presentation?

Naturally I said yes as I would to any other reasonable approach.

May be we need a way in for these and other Porsche Trade guys who wish to post on the forum! Perhaps this has been taken care of on the new IT platform[8|] A Traders only Thread - If they have to pay a small subscription or its free does not matter to me - at least if you clicked into a traders thread you would know what you were going to or likely see!

So I will post a picture below (which should also be in the next Porsche Post) of one of their cars at the show. I'm not endorsing them or their products but just simply showing you one of their cars. I just love the colour - its Cambridge Blue[;)]

It's there already, and has been for years.

Sadly, most traders we get are forum chancers, and they don't read the rules, let alone post in the right place! There is a perfect example from a few days ago, of a company who work closely with their region, and knowing they are selling something as a trader they put it in the right section.

I wish more Porsche-related traders would use it. Preferably it should be member benefits, so offers should be club members only, and that's obviously acceptable to forum users who aren't members. One-off items can always go in the regular for sale forum: we wouldn't penalise a business for offering an item to the forum occasionally, it's the over-use of the forum that seems unwanted.

I've not had a response from the OP about whether his numerous posts are commercial or not. [8|]
