Hi All - another "What's it worth" thread that I could do with help with.

I'm toying with the idea of selling my 2002 Model 996 C4 due to an imminent baby situation but would appreciate an idea of value. To make life easier, I've listed the option codes although a quick summary is:

Porsche 996 C4 Coupe
2001 / 51 Plate
Full PSH with Extended Warranty
Recent new rear tyres, discs, pads
53,000 Miles
PCM with Telephone Prep
Soft Leather Electric heated seats
Litronics
Park Assist
Bose + 6 Disc changer

Thanks in advance for any advice
Gavin

I checked out the two you mention but they are not facelift which must surely add at least 2-3k to prices. I have been offered derisory amounts for my vehicle and I refuse to allow speculators get what is in my opinion a perfect example for less than book price.

You won't like this one bit but I'm happy to share it with you...

My mate has just bought a 2001 facelift C2 in seal grey with M030 suspension, carbon package, sun roof, litronics, alu dials, 18 inch carrera's, sound system, top tint, 6 disc CD, rear wipe, with 23k miles for £28k from a dealer (non opc)!!!

Admittedly I think he's got a very good deal but the fact remains 996 and boxsters seem to be in free fall still....I can't remember what the glass guide monthly depreciation is currently but it's pretty high....

A car is always worth what someone is prepared to pay but it's not helped in your case by so many being on the market.

Good luck with the sale...I've 3 kids under 5 so know all about "an imminent baby situation" [;)]

Grant,

They are both facelift models
The links I gave you were links to the page they were on, here are the links to the individual cars.

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/75111.htm (Camtune 69k for £34k)
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/76101.htm (RSJ 53k for £35k)

What have you been offered £29-30k?

FWIW, I think prices, having hit rock bottom in Dec/Jan, have definately stabilised, and may have risen a tad (having looked at 986 prices from June last year till now, and 996 cab prices over the same period)

Hi

Just checked the link. Yes face lift. My car is a cab and I would have heped would be worth more as it also has Porsche warranty.

Hi Grant,

Sorry in your request you said coupe and C4, but I see from your profile your car is a cab and C2..so which is it?

Have a look at this link http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/74483.htm
Another PCGB member is trying to sell his car (Grant Goulding), maybe he can tell you if he's had any luck selling his car at £35k

Anyway, good luck!
