Valve clearance

Setting the valve clearances is a pain if you measure the gap between the valve stem and the rocker.
It is easier to measure the gap between the cam and the rocker.
I set the gap as per the book, valve stem to rocker and then checked the gap, cam to rocker.
I could not measure an appreciable difference. Discuss.

Not a prob if you use the little feeler gauge tool!

As Bernie says, with the right tool its easy enough
