veers to the left

When I accelerate and then lift off the car veers to the right slightly. I would conclude, therefore, that the car is veering to the left slightly when the power is applied. Could this be due to the LSD in the Turbo trans? Note the car is an 84 Lux fitted with a turbo trans and no other mods.
 
Could it be wear in the rear suspension arm bushes allowing some movement / turning effect of the rear wheels?

I have changed the rear tyres from one Vredestein and one old Semperit (both 205/60/15) to two identical tyres 225/60/15. The effects have completly disappeared. Susrprise surprise I hear you say.
