I just tried to register my 911 at the DVLA and they say i need to provide them with the date of manufacure... I have no paperwork with the car as i bought is as a basketcase and rebuilt it..

can anyone help?

its a 1989 model that i can work out from the VIN, but they want the month and day too

If you were a club member, you would be entitled to a free Vehicle Authentication Certificate from Porsche Cars, which contains all the information you need. If you are not a member, it costs £65 ish.
