Vehicle Reg 968C seen today - One of ours?

I saw a lovely 968 on the Abingdon bypass going north at around 10:30 this morning. The registration number was 968C. I was in my black 981 Cayman S and we exchanged waves
Is the car/owner known to anyone?
Lovely looking car.
 
hi Philip not familiar with that reg number 968C ,will check club office rgds Ken Coad reg sec
 
hi PCGB HQ advise me the car is registered 968C it's metallic black and resides in Devon rgds Ken Coad - must admit I have not seen it
 
Strange because I remember it being white and not black. Being near Abingdon, it was a long way from home. Perhaps the car has had a re-spray or the plate was sold.
Equally likely, my memory has gone and the car was black. I am very old after all.
