Very happy with my new 944

I have just purchased a 89 944 2.7 lux in black with linen logo interior.The car has only done 65k miles and is in mint condition.Having sold my 82 911 turbo,i was looking for a cheaper porsche,and was originally looking for a 944 turbo,but when this car came along,i just had to buy it.It is the best condition porsche i have owned(having owned a 924 turbo,two 944 luxs,944 turbo,911 carrera 3.0, and the 930).I had forgotten how well a 944 can drive after the 911.Although the 930 was very exciting,it did try to kill me on a number of occasions!The 944 has only half the power of course,but the handling is superb,and in my opinion this more than makes up for the lack of power.(Also,no oil leaks on my garage floor).So basically it is great to be back in the driving seat of a 944!

If you describe this one as mint after already owning so many Porsches then it must be in seriously good condition. Good luck with the new toy, and welcome back.

Not when it comes to washing it and trying to keep it clean it isn't. Black does look good for that brief period after it is waxed and before it gets dusty though. [;)]
