Good job its got that "old sofa" seat material else I would be highly tempted and all for a bag of sand (as Mike Brewer would say !)

MOT presumably passed on a day when it was wearing different plates, then...
Apart from that, it looks lovely.

Given that there seems to be a lot of interest in the early square dash it might be worth a punt ( think that's a Mike Brewer too!) and change the upholstery if you dont like .

If I hadnt got 4 of the damn things I would be there simply as its SO early!

Nice early car with the sackcloth seats, a rarity in themselves. Worth buying for a grand and putting away somewhere warm for a few years.

Very rare to see that seat material in such good condition, but if its not your thing then for a bag of sand you could always have them redone in leather as they're a nice looking set of early sports seats, be a shame though it looks very original

That's the interior my Mum's 924 had!
Seemed rather luxurious compared to the velour in her previous 1979 Toyota Celica 1600ST and Dad's Cortina 2.0 XL (MKIII)

ORIGINAL: Lowtimer

The previous owner of my car used to run it around on the old black and silver plates and then do a quick swap for the nice man at the MOT centre. Still got them somewhere but dont think they suit and wouldn't want to give any encouragement to the boys in blue by using them..

That car is a pure timepiece.. As Alastair says it needs put away somewhere warm [;)]

I love the early ones... I was very close to an '82 in Guards Red .. LHD and all... but sense and my other half intervened and I was scuppered ![:(]
