Video and data logging system

I am looking for an integrated system that will log performance data (e.g. rpms, g's), merge them with a video signal (of a lap) and outputs a synchronised video signal with all the information.

A quick search lead to this expensive option:

Anyone around would have a better suggestion?

I've got a race technology dl1 data logger which can either overlay video real time, or later overlay data onto the video file.

Have a look at them here

I know a few others on this forum / 993RS forum have them.

Thanks for the dl1 suggestion. Judging from the response, it would seem that most people agree [;)]

Phil, take a look at www.drivedata.com they sell all the gear needed to do this. I have a couple of bulletcams myself for recording multiple angle in-car images on trackdays and last year looked into starting a small business taking in-car videos on trackdays.

There are a couple of other suppliers that I looked at during my investigation but I can't seem to find their details just now, so I may have some more info when the brain cells wake up [8|]
