some photos of a big spend 911T, RSR recreation, hand made wings, 964 3.6 engine, was at unit 11 today when the wheels were delivered from diamond styling, these are factory 9" & 11" RSR wheels, the cost inc refurb around £9000 !!
more pics on page 17 of engine & interior.

perhaps a RSR recreation is not an accurate description, this was custom made to what the customer wished, a nice job and unique 911[:D]

Surely banded wheels are cheaper, that price sounds like the price for the genuine article ???

Nice looking car though, glad quite a few people are making these, but at conversion prices I would still prefer a real, if slightly newer RS.

It's ok, I appreciate the prices are real RSR, but obviously the dna is not quite right on a reproduction.

A set of real 9s and 11s is around £6K - £8K, RSR refurb is £210 per rim. Those banded rims are worth, maybe, £2K. That doesn't mean he didn't pay £9K!

These are the 11" banded rims on the Viper Green rep. being discussed

and a set of genuine 9 and 11s, Note where the valve hole is

Nick there was a weld around the circumference of the rim so as you say banded would make sense, and there is no arguing with the valve position, I did lift the 11"rim and thought it was exceptionally light though, in any event can only repeat the price that I was told which was 7k rims plus 1.7k refurb !!!
