Visit to Exmoor Classic Car Collection next year

Hi All - in our October meeting I offered to approach Exmoor Classic Car Collection in Porlock (nr Minehead) as a possible candidate for a summer sunday drive day for 2012 (I had dropped in by chance during the summer and had been amazed by the collection and some of the the stories behind the items).

As I hoped, the owner Stephen was really enthusiastic about the idea. He owns the collection which ranges from a modern Ferrari 599 through to a vintage 1935 Rolls Royce (there are even some exotic watches to keep Steve C occupied [:)]). He offered to give us a guided tour and provide parking.

He has an open calendar for next year and has put it to us to go back with dates. Hopefully, we can mention it during our next meeting.

If you're going to make a weekend of it, why not do the Haynes motor musuem as well - I think it's in Somerset, so en route....
