VISIT TO JAZ PORSCHE SAT 9TH MAY

I can now confirm a date for the visit to Jaz Porsche in St Albans.
For those of you who don't know Jaz, they are a Porsche Specialist Independent garage. Since the early 1990's they were originally based in Wembley and they currently take care of all Porsches from early classics right up to the latest 981/991 models. As business has grown over the years they have outgrown the Wembley premises and have moved to a considerably larger site in St Albans, Hertfordshire.
The event will take place on Saturday 9th May from 10am "" 12.30pm. Steve Winter the proprietor will hold a Q&A session from 11am. If you have any questions from the daily running of your car to how to get more bhp from your pride and joy then do come along as I am sure there will be an answer for all of us.
Steve and his team will also be on hand to show us around their premises during the morning and light refreshments will be provided. The full address is
Jaz Porsche, Unit 18, North Orbital Commercial Park, Napsbury Lane, St Albans, Herts, AL1 1XB.
The website for JAZ if you would like to have a look is www.jazweb.co.uk
Please register your interest with me at boxster@porscheclubgb.com if you wish to attend so that Jaz may cater for numbers
Thanks
Tracy

Tracey,
Many thanks for organising the visit today, great place with some very interesting cars, knowledgeable people and kind hospitality. Well done.
Here's to the next outing with the Boxster Register![:)]

Thanks to Edward and everyone who attended the Jaz clinic this morning.
As Edward says Steve certainly knows his Porsches and it was great to be taken around the garage seeing how things work and how the work is carried out,
We started with how to regas the aircon ,then saw a geometry set up being done and finally were taken into the engine room
where Steve talked us through the workings of the Porsche engines and then answered questions from members.
Add to this the fabulous hospitality and some Porsches on show to die for, i think a great morning wa had by all.
Many Thanks to Steve,Claire and their Jaz team.

Regards
Tracy

Thanks for letting me tag along Tracy.

Steve was very knowledgeable about all things Porsche [although I had the impression that he's an air-cooled Porsche man at heart] and runs a very tidy little set-up.

A very interesting and informative half day out and please pass on our collective thanks to all at JAZ.

Jeff
