An invite from the 964 Register.

We have a Factory visit to Pristine Wheels on Monday 21st April. Pristine do a lot of wheel refurbishment including fixing magnesium wheels.

I have 4 places left that I would like to fill. So if you are interested - pls drop me a line.

Thanks - details below

As some of you know Pristine Wheels is one of the largest refurbishers of alloy (and magnesium) wheels in the UK, http://www.pristinealloywheels.co.uk/index.php. With 70 plus people involved the company is a factory and not a 2""man band. Pristine are based just outside Milton Keynes.

Many dealers and independents have their wheels cleaned, tested, repaired, CNC milled, and coated by them. To date, they have not held open visits to their factory, and have only hosted a few clubs for a talk.

Well, Pristine have offered to host us on A FACTORY WORKING DAY so we can see the whole process. Numbers are limited, in part due to health & safety, so if you are interested please let me know soonest.

We can have up to 15 people on this visit.

The date that would work best for them is MONDAY APRIL 21ST. We may have other dates but for now let's test the water with this date.

As this is the first visit they have done we will work the agenda and final numbers as we hub this out. But the rough agenda is:

Arrive by 09.45, have some tea/coffee,

Start the tour at 10.00,

End at around 12.00, have a light lunch with their Managing Director/owner, David James,

End by 13.00.

Alexander,
I've PM'd you. Would like to take you up on the invitation if there is any space available.
Many thanks,
Rich

Hi Alexander,
not sure if you got the pm I sent a few days back but I'm interested in this if there's still any space. I'd be grateful if you could let me know.
Many thanks,
Richard

Hi Richard - yes for sure.

I did respond but I thin the club server is playing up. I will send a conformation message to everyone later today.

ps can you let me have your email address.

Tks

We are nearly there - I have you down as confirmed for attending the Pristine Wheels (http://www.pristinealloywheels.co.uk/ and see below address) visit this coming Monday morning.

I will also post this to the 964 and 964RS forums as I don't have all the email addresses.

Watch out of a final message tomorrow which will be the last one on this. This will highlight any last minute changes although I don't expect any!

See you there!

Alexander,
Just to say thank you for organizing today's visit. David went out of his way to spend so much time showing us the process, and I was impressed by the scale of the operation, and also the attention to detail and meticulous quality control.
Thanks again,
Rich

Alex,
just to echo Rich's comments, thanks for the organisation. David was a generous host and entertaining with it!
The operation was extremely impressive and I await the results on my "test" VW alloy and even more so the results on Rich's Mags! I thought the prices seemed pretty reasonable too, especially considering the amount of work that went into each refurb.
Great morning out,
Richard
