Chaps,

I'm happy to offer a (virtual) pint of the ale of your choice to the first person to get this visual gag.

Which famous person does this photo refer to?

Glad you've made it back, Oli!

Too easy, must be one of the Porsche family. Probably Boatzi Porsche knowing your sense of humour. [;)]

Yes, Smiffy is right in there with the correct answer - "Boatzi Porsche"! [:)]

Gerry, that's a good question but I'll have to leave understanding that screenshot to someone who is clever. I'm fick and can't quite grasp the correlation between the graph and the circuit map. (There are three points marked on the circuit but four on the graph. A safe assumption would be that the lowest speed is through La Source and the left hand side of the graph is the start/finish line, but that then shows a significant dip in speed between La Source and the end of Kemmel, which is the highest speed on the graph. So my answer is that either that you lifted a LOT through Eau Rouge, or that I am not understanding what I am seeing. Which is it?)

Oli.

I'm sure Smiffy is well happy that you mistook him for me!

Ferry easy mistake to make though.

Well the answer is yes I did lift, Eau Rouge entry point is just after 1000 mtre mark I was doing 118 mph, the graph starts at the start/finish line the first dip is la Source, the second is climbing eau rouge to radillion, then the Kemmel the first yellow point is just before braking for les combes. The second yellow is point 2 on the straight down to Pouhon, Third is Stavelot, the fourth yellow on the graph is start/finish line (red blob) on the circuit map.

If you look at the eau rouge curve you can see I lift to get the front to grip for the second part of the corner. [&o] The shame of it will live with me forever....................or at least until next year.

You could of course delete the screenshot and your post and then no-one would know ....

(McNulters, it was intended as a compliment. Although I'm not going to say which one of you I was trying to flatter!)

Oli.

P.S. Anyone else with any good visual gags (preferably car related), feel free to post them up here. This is a fun game for all the family, so please do join in.
