Normally go for the 2 weeks in the sun but hey not this year. Me the better third and the best third ( well I do polish it a lot [:D] ) are off tomorrow for a 10 -14 day tour of Britanny/Normandy in which I think the old girl will cover about 3000 miles. Straight down to Sunny Dover tomm am from Lancs and then Hoverspeed to Calais and a quick 350 ish miles down to Quimper. Really hoping the 944 wont let me down, upgraded the RAC just incase and had the car on the ramps today for an oil change etc and a general good look over and managed to stop a couple of rattles on the exhaust and the brakes so all good.
Just had new tyres fitted on the rear went for Michelin and a full wax and scrub so she's ready to roll.

Never driven abroad before but carnt wait to hit the coast roads and use the car for what it was meant for.

Au Revoir

I like the title of this thread - starts in Spanish, then uses the masculin for the country. I'm sure the French will understand !

Driving abroad is good fun - lots of parking, generally open roads, friendly people, lots of great sea food (you've got me started on French food again !)

So, Vive la France !

:ROFLMAO:

I'm sure you will have a great time Chris and your other third will take the 3K miles like a stroll in the park.
