What a nightmare []...just got back from UAE, having been stranded there since last Thursday when our flight home was cancelled whilst I was on the way to the airport to come home [8|].

Great place, but not easy to escape from without a plane...

Thankfully Emirates were stars, and provided accommodation whilst we overstayed our welcome. Rude awakening today (3.15 am) with a call to the room to say get to airport in 45 mins! Not possible, but we rushed all the same, and now home. Kn@ckered. Sorry to miss the R10 meeting. Will be at the MK Classic Run, in a Mini Moke [:)][:)]- as the turbo is having a bit of work at JZM.

See you at the May meeting?

And you thought long trips in an old Landrover were hard work! Who would have thought Tesco's at Flitwick would be such a welcoming sight.

Looking forward to the Power Point presentation at a future R10 meeting.

Glad to hear you're back safe! Also glad to hear Emirates were stars - I'm flying to Dubai Friday-week with them. There was a bit of a scare story in the press here that if you were on a "non-EU" airline, you were on your own. Obviously not entirely true
