I might be able to make it along to this albeit later during the day. Does anyone if it is going to be one of those mobbed events with several miles of traffic trying to get in to the car park?

Hi
The roads around the 3 counties ground are narrow and not designed for high volume traffic - that said it should be able to cope as the show ground plays host to several big shows every year, so they should be able to manage the flow......
Come and find us at the R13 area if you make it!

What a brilliant day! Thankyou for asking us to attend. The venue, the weather and the cars were all superb, and it was lovely to meet such a friendly bunch of Porsche enthusiasts. You made us feel very welcome.
We have never seen so many vintage sports cars in one place before and it made a change to be looking at cars not made by Porsche. Having said that, however, the highlight of the afternoon was the driving tests, which were nearly as entertaining as the aerobatic display by the Spitfire.
We had a great journey home, with the top off the car all the way, even stopping in a lay-by at the side of the A49, just outside Whitchurch, to enjoy a leisurely cup of tea in the glorious sunshine.
When we got home it was to discover that the Air show was being held, and from our deckchairs in the back garden, we were treated to fly-pasts by the Battle of Britain memorial flight, the Vulcan bomber, an aerobatic team and the Red Arrows. What some might say was the perfect end to a great weekend.

Yes what a great day - so many cars tha I have never seen before and what great weather too!
Thanks to all our members for putting on a display of Porsche cars from a wide range of era's.
Thanks also to Mac & Sue for travelling so far to join the fun (and organise it too!)
The low fly past of the Spitfire sealing a great show that helped celebrate the vscc 75th Bday.

Cheers
Adam
