Please note the visit to the Vulcan at Robin Hood Airport is now full, it has proved to be very popular.

Details and directions have been sent out to those already booked on it.

Richard/Rod,

just wanted to say a big thank you for organising this great day outšŸ˜€ All of my party though that it was a really good trip, & we may even have a new club member out of it! Thanks again.

Same from me and Lydia - great visit and very good talk from former pilot and engineers. Thanks to all for organising!

Did any of you spot the Vulcan simulator in the corner? (PC running Flight Sim X and some terrain mesh software). It had a real Vulcan seat to sit in, and some decent Seitek flight controls. I think the idea was to land at RAF Waddington... i ended up somewhere over Middlesborough lol

Had a great day and it was good to meet some of you. Thanks for making me welcome. Even my teenage son loved it so it must have been good! Will post some photos later. Do we have an R4 Facebook group?

Glad you enjoyed it and hope to see you at some future events - the 2017 calendar is being worked on, and there's still time to book the talk in November, and the Christmas lunch in December.

And in answer to your question - yes there is a Face book page hopefully the link will work if you click HERE
