VW

If you look at the Porsche parts catalogue, a lot of the part numbers are a different format (fewer digits). I believe these are VW part numbers, at least I've successfully ordered one of them from my local VW parts desk.

If I remember correctly (and I could be wrong!) Porsche used the VW part numbers. Therefore, for items that are MK1 Golf, like the wishbones and ball joints share on the square dash, the parts will begin with '171.'

Hope that helps?

Nice to see you back on Andy. When are you getting another 44 ?

Thank you kind sir!

Not soon enough sadly! Smoking around in a VR6 Corrado now which has a similar seating position/feel if nothing else (great sound though!)

My business neighbour has a turbo so I at least get to drool over one every day :)

I'm looking forward to Rutland though - will be great to catch up and have some 44 porn back in my life [8D]

Switch gear and cabin perts seats for the older cars, modern cars much more hardware as engines and chassis.

VR6 Corrado the VW Ferrari according to the motoring press of the day. Great car..

It's a great car, I love it!

Someone on the Corrado forum has a signature stating 'Just like a Golf, but better' - I think that about sums it up - and I love Golfs! [8D]

VW golf and original Mini are the only two truly classless cars ever built. Just as at home in a supermarket as at the casino in Monaco. and accepted at both without question.
