Wall Mounted Hardtop Stand for 996

I have been told that I " need" to get the hardtop out of the spare bedroom in the next few weeks. Up until now I haven' t risked the garage for fear of falling bikes etc.

Can anyone recomend a good wall mounted hardtop stand, preferably with a dust cover, that will allow me to get it up out of harms way i.e. on the Porsche side of the garage where small boys are not permitted !!

Any experiences with different suppliers/makes would be most grateful ..

The other half has Porsche' s standard wall mounted unit for her Boxter hard top, works very well & relatively simple/easy to fit assemble. No doubt not the cheapest option, but can' t tell you how much as it came with the car when she got it !! If you do go down the OPC route, they will do " discount" if you shop around !!

There are also hoists available (not from OPC' s though).

Added benefits:

Hardtop is out of harms way above the car
Top can be removed and refitted by one person.

Might be worth considering?

Edit:
A quick google search turned up this one, which looks interesting?

Ended up buying a wall mounted 'padded bag' from Type 911 online. Received it on Friday and put it up yesterday.

Seeems to work well and can even be hung on a outside wall as it is padded and waterproof. Looked at hoists at Eynsham and the UK price is £500 for a manual and £1000 for an electric one !!

Bag on the wall was under £200 inc delivery

I understand that the easyhoist is soon to be manufactured in UK at about half the current price. I was at Eynsham and discussed it with the licence holders. It is a very good product and enables one person to raise and lower the top. I bought a much less sophisticated hoist from California but by the time shipping and tax had been paid it cost about £350 .

Prior to the hoist I bought a hard top buggy from Fastmovers in St Albans - their tel no was 01727 838964. It cost £159 + vat a few years ago. I have a hardly used one - a hoist is much better - if you want to make me an offer for my buggy I am in Barnet.
