Walton Hall?

Hi Graham,

Irene and I are going in our 3.2 along with a few members from Yorks Region
Meeting at Tibshelf services on the M1 at 09h30 to travel in convoy, this will not help you as you are from down south

Looking forward to a great day.

Regards

Adam

By the way, how do you get the pixel count low enough to put a photo of your car on screen, I have tried all sorts but it is always too big

my wife and i are also going. went last year and had a great day.
best value event around i think. good turn out, trade stands, and good food, best of all £5.00 per car to get in...

Adam,

Email me your photo off line and I will compress it for you.

Sarah and I are unsure wether to go to Walton hall or have a run to the lakes - too many choices [;)]

Dave,
check out
(link removed - moderator)
doesn't look like there's a lot of difference cost wise unless you are a member

Graham

I'm going to wind up this topic - I've had a couple of complaints that this is not a PCGB event and as such all discussion should be limited. I also note that the originator of the thread is a non-member which does make me suspiscious?

I don't like restricting discussion but now I'm even fed up with it.

How about concentrating on Brands Hatch?

Oh please , this is the first time I've commented on moderation , hopefully the last, what the heck is wrong with folks chatting about where they are going? Move it to the chat room or something but don't delete or I fear political hell will be unleashed yet again.
In fact move it over to the SC forum , we'd welcome everyone there.

This of course is a tricky subject. Our first and foremost consideration must surely be to PCGB events. I have let this one run (despite a complaint or two) as I agree that discussion must be unrestricted. However, when obvious links are added then I think we have the right to restrict access - that's what we are here for.

However, if you really feel strongly there are far greater beings than me to decide on such matters - see if you can get their backing to lift the restiriction then you have my 100% support.

BTW, I haven't blocked the subject, I have only restricted the link ......

Ah....apologies I thought you were about to delete the thread altogether, Mr Angry has become meak and mild again. [8D]

Tony,

Firstly, Yes I am a member....check my profile.
My membership number is 46277 if you want to check again.
Quite why this does not show on my post is a mystery to me but I have noted others in the same situation and looking at their profiles...same thing.

Secondly,
Walton Hall is just an event...these are of interest to those of us who own and run our cars. I was not promoting the event....I am not a member of TIPEC, but noticed the ad in 911 Porsche World and it co-incided with a spare weekend that I happen to have...and no other events that I could see either that I can get to...hence the question anyone else going? All I wanted to do was perhaps meet a few others that I have met electronically on this forum...in person.

Most of the people here will probably go to Brands Hatch as well!!!!! including me.
As a newish member I was at Basildon, and Wooton hall but didn't know anyone...By the way, bought your book and loved it.

Apology in order? or ban me?..or suffer the indignity of my selling your book on e-bay[;)]

regards
Graham
