It was nice to see the 997's at yesterdays Porche & Polo event. Shame about the sprint race (997 soundly thrashed by a Polo Pony) next time we will use a rocking horse.
 
What was the distance they were sprinting?
What was the bhp on the Polo Pony to have done 0-60 in less than 5 sec?
 
OK, so we knew the result beforehand. Why else would they not allow me to place a £100K bet. There is to be a re-run at Brands over 5 laps; even Geoff's old 924 might win that one.

Did you hear about the prominent 997 owner who blagged a free lunch? I do hope that he made a generous donation to the charity. if not it could be 'Name & Shame' time.
