.......We are looking for a porsche 944 in excellent condition between the

As I might have said on Titanic [:-] "Aren't we all?" [:D]

I guess they might get a good Lux for that money, but then Mike Brewer is going to beat the seller down on price if he gets to the end of the show any way.

It should be an interesting show none the less, if only to see what they choose as three comparable cars.

It's not Mike Brewer on Used Car Roadshow, it's that fat [insert noun rhyming with "fat" here] who got sacked from Top Gear after one series because he knows nothing about used cars nor TV presenting, Jason Dawe. Him and "VBH for the hard of seeing" Penny Mallory.

I could do a better job of presenting than that guy - he's as wooden as Pinnochio!

Does anyone know what the event is at Silverstone?

I stand corrected. You are quite right. How sad are we?

Him and "VBH for the hard of seeing" Penny Mallory.

I'm guessing you were being ironic with that comment [:)] as PM is anything but.

Cheers,

Neil (not a paid-up member of the VBH fan club)

Not at all. VBH can gap my plugs any time but I can't say the same for Ms. Mallory.

Did they say when the show will be aired? Be interesting to see what the other choices are considering there can be no better choice than the 944!

I've met & worked with Penny on another Daisybeck car show called "Top Dog". She was approachable, charming and in the words of someone who was with me on the day. She is the custodian of XXXXXXXX Whatever that might mean

Cheers

Allan

Having looked up what it meant, I have saved Allan's blushes by removing the phrase [&o] (John)

I've nothing against her, I just find her about as attractive as Tiff Needel. And that is NOT AT ALL before anyone jumps in with smart comments [:D]

I naively had no idea what it meant when I first read it. If only I had the foresight to google it like John must have done [;)]

I can only presume Allans partner Chris must have got at the 'puter because Allan is such a refined and genteel fellow that he would never know about such things :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

PM may not be on pole (as there's Suzi Perry and Kate Humble to consider) but IMO she's several grid positions ahead of VBH.

Quite right. And I had to follow at least half a dozen links, just to confirm my findings [8D]

I would agree with Suzi Perry & Kate Humble, but I would have to put VBH ahead of PM. And then just to stir things up further, I give you...........Sabine.

What was this thread about any way? [:D]
