I'm after the rear seats to match the front seats shown below in Burgundy. Can have leatherette centre sections as the centres are getting replaced so long as the outside is leatherette in burgundy.

Have you tried the usual set of breakers? they seem to have stacks of rear seats as they are hardly ever worn

The problem will be matching Martin. They look like something between DrMartens oxblood at best and mid-brown at worst now. I owned two cars with Bordeaux trim when they were new and it was a bright red, with bright purply-red fabric on the normally aspirated car.

You might be as well getting the vinyl replaced as well as the fabric. Im guessing that you already know where to get the cloth from, but I can make a couple of suggestions if need be.

For the vinyl I would suggest Vaughan Green. In fact, Id suggest Vaughan for the whole job. I know that he has the correct vinyl as he replaced some on a friend of mines car quite recently. Very red! He ended up taking aged vinyl off the seat rears to repair the squabs and replaced the back with new, to help it to blend in.

Hi Simon, I've got the fronts in my local upholsterer doing the front seats for me and was hoping to get a rear to match. I may end up buying a different colour rear seat and getting it trimmed with new vinyl to match the fronts if I can't source a burgundy one.

Do you have the contact number for Vaughan Green (I already know Dave @ Southbound but would like a cheaper option if possible)

Thanks

Vaughan - 07950 331759

Does a good job and not expensive

Breakers - I would say PH sportscars but I think Paul sold a lot of 944 stuff to Elliot@ porkaparts, so you could try him as well

Thanks will speak to Vaughan, but if he is using different material to match it and needs to replace it I may as well let my local seat upholsterer do it as she is able to match very closely the colour.

Still hopeful of getting burgundy seats as this will be an easier and cheaper option.

It doesn't match Martin, that's the point! He is using original colour vinyl which doesn't match the cars as they have faded. This was why he fitted it to the rear of the front seats and used the original seat back material to repair the fascias.
