Wanted: 944S2 Centre console in "linen"

As per the title, I am looking for a good condition 944 S2 (1990) centre console in "linen". Part number is 944 552 051 00 colour code 2VY.

My one has several unsightly screw holes.

Sorry Glenn, Can't help with a replacement console, but have you considered getting the damage repaired? If you ask your friendly neighbourhood second-hand car dealership, they will have a local specialist who will fix just this sort of damage on trade-ins before re-sale. You can get diy stuff at Halfords too, but unless you're crafty I'd get a pro.

Good luck!

Hi Steve, thanks for the post. Unfortunately I've been down the repair route (with a professional) and whilst the results are "OK" they're not "Good", hence my search for a replacement.

Have a look on Pistonhead classifieds parts Porsche - I saw an outfit advertising that they have a lot of 944 spares including dashboards, might get lucky!

Have you tried the used parts suppliers in the faqs? Should be no problem finding one as it's not an unusual colour, and any series 2 interior has the same console.

They do, although the split colour available on 1986 and 1987 cars was grey-beige; which many incorrectly call 'linen'. Providing that you stipulate that the part comes from a 1989 or later car, then youll be alright.

Glenn, I haver a rake of linen parts in a turbo at the moment. I will check the centre console for you later.
