Hi, I have a 944 S2 which has 968 door handles. Part of the internal mechanism has broken and needs replacing. I'm not concerned about the finish of the external part of the handle as it is my intention to strip it and just use the part I need which is the bit that connects the handle to the rod that drops down to the door latch. I attach a photo of the broken part. If anyone has a spare door handle that they are happy to sell, please contact me, either on here or vie email - shaun.henstridge@gmail.com. Thank you.

Shaun, chances are you don't need a new handle, just the appropriate part. I'd suggest you take your damaged handle to your local OPC parts department, you may get a pleasant surprise! I repaired my offside handle 3 years ago, and parts were readily available from OPC. Illustration 804-05 in E_968_Katalog.pdf which you can download from the Porsche website (Google the file name).

Can't get at my Google docs ATM, trying to upload some photos, but when I can I'll post a link to my write-up - which may help.
