Hi fellow 996ers
Porsche are requesting a 996 carrera 2/4 Coupe, 3.6 litre facelift Mk2, must be RHD and non modified, a evolution type display is being formed at the new Porsche driving centre within Silverstone circuit, Geoff Turral always obliges us at PCGB and I hope we casn find a suitable car, it will be on display from 17th-24th July, fully insured by Portsche cars Gb Ltd and a Cayman or Boxster will be offered for the member to use whilst the car is on display, the premises are secure and the car will not be driven, I have offered my own but essentially a Coupe is required for this display.

Please contact myself Johnny McGirl on email 996@porscheclubgb.com if you can oblige. ASAP

They had mine last week but unfortunately, other commitments meant I couldn't do the second event.

For those who haven't been to the centre at Silverstone, it's an interesting place to visit. As you might expect, Porsche were extremely pleasant and professional to deal with. My car wasn't driven by them but I put over 500 miles on their new Boxster over 8 days! The Boxster was an entertaining swap whilst the sun was shining.

Highly recommended if you can part with your p +j.
