Hi Guys,

A very good friend of mine is wanting to dip his first toe into Porsche ownership and is in the market for a 996 manual coupe in the region of £20k. Only thing he seems insistent upon is that it must have the aerokit! He/we have done the PH/Autotrader trawl but if any of you know of such a beast coming on to the market could you please drop me an e-mail. Many thanks
Cheers
Alan

Cheers Don and thanks for letting me know before my mate! It looks a very special car and I told him he may struggle to find one similar or better that has all the goodies and with such a low mileage. Oddly I think I have been almost as excited by getting someone new into Porsche ownership as I have by getting my own! I can't wait to see it close up. I've known the buyer since we were kids and he will certainly cherish it. Got to get him to join the club now!
Unfortunately I don't know anyone selling a Ferrari - are you serious and if so which model?[8D]
Alan

Alan, I've told him to join the club also. I had 9 happy and trouble free years with my 911 and will miss her but I have always wanted to experience Ferrari ownership and looking at my options against my budget (£100K) The 550/575 are in the frame as is a 612. I went to Meridien in Lyndhurst last week and tried out a manual 612 and loved it. Trouble is the big V12's normally sell best with an F1 box and red isn't a popular colour so thinking of future values has made me think again. I may wait for the California, which in around 12/18 months will hopefully be with my budget, I like the versatility of the hard/open top. Also its the first V8 front engined Ferrari and reasonably compact. Great fun looking and trying them out so time will tell.

Thanks again I enjoyed meeting the guys today.

Don

Drove Lancaster's Demo Turbo, great car, stunningly fast - good choice. When does she arrive?
Out of the factory 4th Feb so as long as it takes after that! Jan seems a very long month.[:(] And John, everybody knows red is, and always has been, the fastest colour.

I think it will look very nice in Red, and i think red is faster as it stands out more so is more obvious when you are going that bit to fast.

Looking forward to seeing some pictures.

Phil

After 9 years of ownership my 911 went to its new owner tonight. He looked very happy and I looked very sad. Having spent some time with the guy I know she will be well looked after.........

Thank goodness for that Don. Sorry for your loss but I was getting worried Martyn was going to lose out! Got a replacement lined up yet![;)] I'm still waiting.................[]

Your ex will be very well cared for I'm sure.

Testing the Panamera Turbo on Wednesday [:-] I want to keep an open mind but, whilst its a very capable car blah blah, not sure its for me. Dealer is aware of my thoughts but happy to let me take her out anyway. Also looked at a 997 4S Cab, good spec but at £94K and change seems very expensive to me. Love the Turbo 997 but my heart still says give Ferrari a go [:)] When I was skint it was easy to decide but now things are different I'm finding it harder to make my mind up! Still its great fun looking [:D] Yours look stunning by the way.

is your post as you are selling it?

Had this for 4 years. Never use it, only 21000 from new. Had a bent front wing & bumper before i bought it. Was mint when i got it. Shame to see it sat there.
