Wanted, a look at a 924S/944 with working sunroof

Help. I've got a 1988 924S, which didn't have a sunroof motor. I've now bought (from a 944 of same vintage) a complete motor assembly. Unfortunately it doesn't quite seem to go together in the way the designers intended (either that I haven't got the right parts)

Not having seen a working set-up, I don't know if I've got all the parts or how it should operate. Is there anyone close to Uckfield that could let me have a look at theirs, at so that I get a better understanding of what does what? The Clarkes Garage information is a help, but not much.
