wanted a very early non sunroof 944 for my personal car please

Okay

after driving the oval, s2 and a turbo i recently brought and sold an early non sunroof model and now have an itch to scratch.

I have decided to keep the 993 and not bother with the T4 that i was looking for and instead to sell the Audi 80 estate for circa £600 and with the cash and extra buy a nice early non sunroof model preferably in guards red.

If anybody has or knows were i can get an early 944 please let me know as i want to turn it into a show / concours model

Not worried about initial condition as long as it is tested or needs very litle for MOT

Please note this car will not be broken or used in my business and will not be tracked but the work on it will be put on my website

cheers Elliot

I can vouch for this one as very nearly bought it but I'm afraid it does have a sunroof, is it crucial not to have one?

Just seen this on PH - looks nice and looks like no sunroof!

Our daily driver (1983, no sunroof) might be going on sale soon. I absolutely love driving it, but we're heading overseas shortly. I'll send you a message with some more info in case you're interested. [:)]

Looks a good prospect - white with fuchs is a great combo. It needs the toast rack removing

Rear wheels look like the offset is a bit odd - as though they stick out a touch too far. Maybe a slight drop of the suspension would help.

Philistine! [:D][:D]

Seriously, I think the seperate-bumper cars look wrong without a rear diffuser, all that spare wheel well on show, but just as wrong wearing a later S2/turbo diffuser.

The toast rack was designed at the same time, and suits the car perfectly.

Have you seen this one Elliot? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Porsche-944-AMAZING-condition-/280632409760?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4156febea0

Did you look at the white one yet, or did the Turbo divert your attentions?
