WANTED: Boxster 2.7

Help required or do you know of someone who wants to sell their pride and joy?

It's my first porsche, but finding a low mileage well looked after 2.7 boxster is almost proving an impossible task. I have a cash budget for the right car, but I haven't managed to find one that I haven't spotted a problem of some sort with. Ideally I'm looking for a 2000 to 2001 registration year, max mileage 35k and FPSH.... I can't believe it's that hard to find, but you'd be surprised.

P.S. Does anyone have a view on whether or I should be paying significantly less for a C16 Option code car which was not supplied by Porsche GB? I have asked a few members already and there seems to be a mixed view, some saying it will impact on resale others stating that it won't

Thanks

You should be able to find a 2.7 easily, there are a number around. I can't think of what problems your finding, I imagine they are niggly things like the colour or wrong wheels.

I'd sell you mine, but i've not ordered the new one yet.

What problems are you finding? and what things are a must on the impending vehicle?

For that sort of money you should be able to find a 2.7 easily

what price he didn't mention a price......did he?

have a look on pistonheads forum theres loads on sale there. i've got a year 2000 2.7 which i shall be selling soon but its done more miles than your looking for. though its quite high spec and in as new conditition. i would be looking for £26k for it.

June 2000, 29,600 miles, silver with blue hood, blue leather seats, climate control, 17" wheels, wind deflector, computer, aluminium pack, radio/CD, big service and MOT yesterday, garaged throughout, FPSH, no accidents, nice plate, one owner from new, excellent condition (one tiny dink).

New one on order - email me.

Thanks all for your interests, spec:

It must be a 2.7 Leather, preferrably metallic in colour, the wife says i can't have yellow but i have the cheque book! Air con, CD, Alarmed, at least 17" alloys. What I really want is an honest clean car without any bodywork imperfections and FPSH. My budget is around £24k max.

If i'm really picky i would prefer not to have black or savannah leather, and l like contrasts, Silver and Blue, Red and Grey, Black and Grey etc etc.

The faults i'm finding are £25k cars with bodged paintwork, HPI descrepencies, FPSH which isn't FPSH and the like. I have been looking mainly at autotrader and the independent dealer websites, so far but hadn't checked boxa.net so thanks for the tip. Brian i've sent you an email with regard to yours.

you still selling Dawn? i thought you had decided to keep it for a bit longer?

Kind of a case of, if someone comes along who wants it i'll sell but all the cars I wanted have gone so i'll have to wait for a while. Thankfully we've got three cars on the go at the moment so I wont be car-less if it does sell but all active manouvers to sell the car have now finished![:D]

I have a Boxster S for sale for £24,000 but it is yellow. I bought it from my local Porsche Centre just over 2 years ago and have been back for all servicing.
