Wanted: collapsible spare wheel

I'm trying to get hold of a collapsible spare wheel, as supplied in the 996 C4 (1999 model at least).
Anyone got one available, or any suggestions as to where to try ?
I've seen a variety of part numbers, but not sure which ones are correct :
996-362-020-02
996-362-020-03
996-362-030-00 (may not be the collapsible version?)
996-362-150-00

They are available from Porscheapart and sometimes on ebay. I have a 16" collapsible one in good nick if your interested. Where abouts do you live? You can mail me if you wish.

The part number on mine is hard to read, but looks like 996 337 150 00

The actual number of the 'collapsable' space saver spare for a '99 C4 is 996.362.050.00 which was superceded in '04 by 996.362.050.01. As I am sure you know, this fits in the bottom of the luggage compartment under a cover, unlike the C2 which is a narrower, inflated spare which goes vertically against the rear of the compartment.

It would be interesting to know what you are trying to do by fitting the C4 spare in a C2.

Hi Richard,
I got the 996-362-150-00 number off the collapsible in my old '99 C4 (raised on the casting).
I'm looking for another one to use as a spare for an '05 997 C2.
I understand it'll clear the calipers in use, and can be stored against the rear of the luggage compartment,
unlike the narrower inflated spare in a 996 C2.
Got to be better than the tube of puncture sealant supplied with the 997 ?

The sealant is crap. Just ask Rob the 997 register secretary how good it is, he's been stranded twice with punctures!

I got the numbers from the PET, which probably includes the tyre, although I'm not sure.

There is a space-saver listed for the 997 - 996.362.020.03 (see attached).

Dave, I picked up a spare kit for my 997 while in Germany last year and saved a few quid. I think the same part numbers apply to the 996. Prices are correct as last year but VAT has been increased in Germany this year.
