As per the title, does anyone have a black door card that will fit an '88 Turbo ? Mine has some damage and is a bit weak in certain areas. Before I start to try and repair it, I wondered if anyone has a spare they would sell ?

I'll put pictures of mine up tonight to show the damage, but I think all the black S2/Turbo door cards were the same ? Rectangular speaker etc. As an alternative, does anyone know the differences on 968 ones ?

Thanks in advance,

Mike

All 1986 model year onwards black cards are fundamnetally the same. Cars with the extra speakers dont have a 'main' door speaker hole but they have a small tweeter speaker in the top front.

968 cards are completely different, with extra speakers and a ruched effect above the door pull area. 968 Club Sport and Sport models used the original 944 door card and not the improved later type. Theres nothing to stop you from using a pair of 968-type door cards, of course, other than that theyre a far less common colour than they were on 944s.

Thanks for the info Simon, was fairly sure they were all the same. Mines a standard speaker setup so should be easy enough.

Darryl, are they in good condition ? How much are you looking for posted ? I'm closer than it says on my profile (must update that now) but still too far to collect. Any chance of a picture to make sure they're the same ?

Thanks,

Mike

They are in good condition from memory. I'll have to get them out and check. Not a clue on price if I'm honest! What's your e-mail I can send you some photos?
