Wanted - Early 911 (Advise Sought)

I have sold my 911 Carrera and as circumstances now dictate, I am looking for a 911 that I can use year round (10K miles per year).

Firstly - is this madness in an early 911 ? If OK, please read on.....

Not concerned particularly with outright speed, so an early car may be an alternative to the 964 that I am also considering - views please. Later cars can be a licence breaker !!!!!

LHD is not a problem (my Carrera was and it felt right with the pedal alignment not being offset).

Rust is a problem to me - I am no bodywork man, and the car needs to be used so cannot spend periods off the road - therefore please only suggest rust free cars, or those that can be restored easily by a bodyshop.

Overall, I am looking for a very straight, original and clean car with plenty of overall history, and recent detailed history.

If you have such a car, then please get in touch with as many photos and as much detail as you can.

My budget is £14K top so please bear this in mind.

I am a serious buyer, and will travel to see a car that meets my criteria.

Thanks for you help.

Finally - if anyone lives near Stratford-upon-Avon that is prepared to let me take a look at their car, and discuss early 911 ownership, then please get in touch (my only experience has been with my 1986 Carrera).
