Wanted SC complete exhaust

Guest

New member
Does anyone have an exhaust lying around that would fit an 81 204 bhp SC, I need the complete system. I dont mind if it is original or an aftermarket item.

Please e-mail me with details.

Cheers

If its the one I've seen the small print reveals it to be damaged and have holes in the silencer!

Cheers

Dan

I bought the complete system (apart from heat exchangers) from here:

Tony Watsons: 01624 613832

Good fit and great price for stainless steel. I was hoping for a bit more bark, as it sounds almost identical to a standard exhaust.

I think I paid £260 for main silencer, intermediate silencer and cross over pipe + fitting kit.

Fitted in about an hour and half - easy.

I am sure you won't beat that price.

I should be on commission!

Thats a very good price, where abouts are they?

Do you know if they do heat exchangers as well?

Cheers Dan.

I can't remember where they are, but postage was only about £10 anyway.

I don't know about heat exchangers, I think you're basically looking at German and Swedish for them.

£700 ish for heat exchangers, I think.

Although SSI heat exchangers are not cheap the current $/£ exchange rate sure makes them a lot cheaper than I can remember. They now pretty much match the price of 'normal' HEs. Worth a look.

Prices from Watson Autoparts catalogue:

911SC Galvanised Heat Exchanger - £135.32 + VAT
911SC Stainless Steel H/Exchanger - £195.00 + VAT

Please note I've never ordered from this company so cannot speak for the quality of these parts. They'll send you a catalogue if you call 01624 613832. My catalogue arrived last week with an Isle of Man postmark and stamps so I guess they're based over there (no address printed on the catalogue).

I'd endorse Watson Autoparts service; though I've not bought exhaust parts from them.

FYI I have mild steel H/Es on my car for 10 years and they are still going strong...
