WANTED - turbo or S2

New member
Well having sold my 87 Turbo to fund my business I am now in the market again for something similar. Not sure yet whether to go for turbo again ( probably will ) or change for the S2 but looking around the £4-5k mark. Having had 3 944's I really miss the daily drive in one so am keen to sort something out. Have been on tinternet for hours yesterday but nothing really jumping out at me.
If anyone has or knows of any vehicles that maybe of interest could you please let me know.
Cheers
Simon.

Hi Mik,

So are you moving to another marque or upgrading ? I must say I do like your car and would have been interested in purchasing although I'm currently saving for a squashed beetle.... ;) I've always admired your car in your avatar and not just because our cars share the same colour ;)

All the best,

Dave K.

Simon,

I have a Nov 1990(H) S2 that I going to be selling:

105k miles with good large history/receipts file, just has belts done
Turquoise blue metallic with cream leather inside
New MoT & taxed til end of May
Good original condition all round, everything works, drives very well
Will be looking for around £4500 for it
If interested let me know (it isn't advertised anywhere yet)

PRJ on the forum's '89 944T with some tweaks is available as he has moved to Australia.

I am looking at selling my 86 turbo with a totally standard 89 engine in it. Tax till May / MOT till End of Nov, Guards Red, black half leather interior, aircon (engine has done 75,000miles car shows 135,000miles on the clock) doesn't smoke at all, starts, runs and drives beautifully, interior is tidy and nearly everything works (one of the drivers electric seat adjustments doesn't work and the central looking doesn't work). New front wishbone, new front brakes, 4 Brand new Toyo R1 tyres

The car is straight and the only rust is on the cills but could really do with a re-spray which I could do if you can wait. I am more than happy to supply pictures or better still come and see the car and you'll see its a pretty fair example just wearing a scruffy coat. I'm located 10mins from Northampton send me an email if your interested. I would like £3500 as it stands or will add the value I would pay for a re-spray (£1500) and sell it with immaculate bodywork if you wish?

Here are a few pics for now courtesy of Ricks website...

Hi Fen

Excuse my ignorance but who is PRJ and where would I find more details of his car?

Cheers
Simon

If you search on his member name you can email him, or I can contact you with some details later this week when I get home.

Sorry, OT here. Fen, I tried to email you but it bounced back. Are you still in NZ? If you can jump 'across the ditch' to Sydney, email me and I'll shout you a beer or three.

I thought you could walk across when the tide went out. [;)] One of our more convenient colonies. [:D]

I'm back now and just trying to last until a reasonable bed time for the UK to end my run of no propper sleep since 8pm on Tuesday [].

For some reason my home internet went u/s last Thursday sometime taking down my email. I think I got all the mails when I fixed it a few hours ago.
