WARNING LIGHT (problem solved)

Solved the problem of the warning light, when i took off the old voltage regulator there seemed to be some additional part, i took this to an auto electrical shop and they said it was some kind of aftermarket suppresser, so i have left this off with the new voltage regulator which is a totally different shape to the one that was on there before and now battery reading is putting out just over 14 when revved and the warning light is now off. Thanks for all your help on this Bones, if it wasn't for you i would have had to put it in a garage so cheers mate

Glad it's sorted, problems like that are the absolute worst to solve without seeing the car, hope we get some good weather and you can enjoy trouble free driving.
