Has anyone purchased a third party warranty? Mine is mileage dependent from the Indy I purchased it from it has been a brilliant warranty everything covered...so far!!! However, I am approaching the mileage limit......

Any recommendation/advice etc much appreciated.

I have the Porsche warranty £725 a year after a checkover by OPC. I think these extend till the car is 9 years old. After that I believe it can be extended with some reduced level of cover (not looked into this in detail as my car 8)

I was told the OPC warranty only covers the car until it's 10th birthday (ie you can start it after it's 9th if you want but it will last less than a year). After that you only have the corrosion warranty.

But why do you want a warranty, they generally are not worth the money you pay, the insurance company has to make money and they tend not to cover the stuff that actually goes wrong? (IMHO).

Was considering any third party companies they may offer one....not OPC ones ... just wondered if anyone had had any dealings.......
