Anyone any idea how I can tell what parts are covered by the warranty, my window just broke and Porsche did it but charged me for below, I want to make sure they are not having me over ?

thanks

Part numbers are
996.542.075.04 power windows L
996.555.831.04 left side door seal

996.542.075.04 is the window regulator (cable & track) - £105.28+VAT
996.555.831.04 is the door membrane which you need to take off to get to the regulator - £33.55+VAT

No idea if they are covered by warranty. There doesn't seem to be any logic to what's covered, and what's not.

ok thanks for that

The warranty book has a full list of items that are covered (not part numbers) and one would guess that any parts that are needed for the repair should be included.

But a window regulator will fail under wear n tear clause, so not surpirsed they charged you.

Replacing the membrane will at least prevent wet carpets in the next 3-4 years , provided they fitted it correctly

Removing the door card, and changing the membrane and regulator is a 2-3 hour DIY job so not paying the labour costs of the OPC at least saved you some money
